Community Relations Meets on the 2nd Monday of Month
Work with community groups to identify and organize volunteer opportunities for chamber members. New this year, the Committee will implement the Chamber’s Speaker’s Bureau as another way for our members to reach out into the community that we serve.
Government Affairs Meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month
Have an active role in determining the outcome of the business/ professional climate in your area. Members of the Government Affairs Committee contribute their thoughts and recommendations to the Board regarding the chambers position on a variety of issues on all levels of government. Let your voice be heard, make a difference and join today!
Golf Tournament Meets monthly. Generally at noon.
Help organize one of the most prestigious golf events in South Jersey! The Golf Committee reviews and selects a course for this annual event, develops sponsorship, advertising plans and organizes special games & prizes.
Economic Development Meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month
Take part in the growth and development of where you live and work through this committee. Experience firsthand the current and future projects going on in Burlington County! Monthly committee meetings include speakers on projects and economic development initiatives in our region and state. Through this committee, BCCOC provides & promotes resources and services to assist to help members grow their businesses.
Employment Practices Meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month
Monthly roundtable discussions address current employment and human resources issues. The Committee plans three educational roundtables each year on salient employment and labor issues affecting businesses.
Expo Meets on the 4th Friday of each month
Be apart of coordinating the county’s only annual business Expo! If you are detailed oriented and like to multi-task, then this is the committee for you. Committee members coordinate everything from venue selection to marketing strategies to the program.
Marketing Meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month
Increase the Chambers visibility and your business through potential creative marketing strategies. Work with committees to provide strategies and marketing for events. Members work with the media to gain exposure for the Chamber & its activities.
Membership Meets on the 1st Thursday of each month
Committee members assist the Chamber’s professional staff in developing programs to actively recruit new members and retain existing ones.
Voice of Business Awards Meets as necessary.
Help us identify and recognize our community’s business leaders through our Voice of Business Awards. Join the committee in implementing and organizing one of the counties’s most esteemed awards programs from the call for nominations to the awards dinner.
Women’s Business Forum Meets on the 3rd Friday of each month.
Be apart of South Jersey’s only Women’s Business Forum! This joint committee of BCCOC members and its partners plan our Annual Women’s Business Forum held each June. Members use their resources and knowledge to recruit the very best speakers and panelists for this significant event.
