The innovative crypto coin project of PornVisory, the Italian online porn magazine, plans to reward its users with tokens for viewing pornography on its platform.

PornVisory’s founder, Veronica Noschese, explained to Cointelegraph that there is a natural synergy between the cryptomoney and pornography industry, which desperately needs anonymous financial systems.

„In the porn industry there are many issues related to privacy and reputation. For example, even the biggest name in the industry, Pornhub, had its account blocked by PayPal. Also, you probably don’t want to pay your premium porn account with the bank account you share with your wife.

Noschese said that his company’s platform is inspired by the Basic Attention Token (BAT). Users of Brave Browser, the privacy-focused web browser with an integrated ad blocker (Adblock), receive BAT tokens to enable special ads. Similarly, users who view PornVisory content will see ads and be compensated on PVY tokens. Added:

„Inspired by the Brave browser, we decided to do something similar but related to the porn industry. The concept is simple: users will be paid for watching porn videos and when they interact with the Pornvisory platform in general.

So far, PornVisory is only an Italian adult industry news media, but soon it will also add an English news section, a porn site with third party videos and a live streaming platform.

There will not be an initial offer of coins
According to Noschese, PornVisory has no plans to make an initial offer of coins, but will launch some of the tokens as a marketing ploy. So far, the project is being financed by the founder’s own funds, but Nochese plans to seek funding from angel investors once the platform gains momentum.

Noschese explained that he has worked as a marketing professional in the adult entertainment industry for a long time, which allowed him to develop advantageous connections that could be leveraged for future partnerships, and he plans to use those connections to allow PVY holders to spend their tokens on sex shops or to tip artists on streaming platforms.

Mauro Baeli, CEO of Deepit, the Swiss firm responsible for the blockchain aspect of the project, told Cointelegraph that his firm believes the ideas behind PornVisory have great potential:
